RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Trauma ICU

Job Details:

• Work in CVICU/HLTICU with device training provided by the hospital
• 12.5-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotating weekend schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• All travelers required to float per Methodist Floating Policy
• Must have 2+ years ICU experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines)
• Ventilator management experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills essential
• Preferred experience with IABP and CRRT
• Meditech charting/order entry experience preferred
• Handle post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization patients with cardiac support devices
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
• Must badge in/out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch break
• Clock in time 6:38 AM/PM required (after 6:45 AM/PM considered tardy)
