Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Provide critical care nursing for patients who have suffered heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, or other severe medical issues
• Assess patient conditions and develop and implement patient care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support
• Assist physicians in performing procedures
• Monitor and record patient vital signs
• Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors, and other medical equipment
• Adjust ventilator and IABP settings as needed
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
• Perform suctioning procedures
• Collaborate with critical care team members
• Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols
• Serve as patient advocate
• Provide education and support to patient families
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients
• Must have Alabama RN license or multi-state RN license
• Must have 2 years recent ICU RN experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHS (must be through American Heart Association)
• May be required to float to other units

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
