RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly (36 hours per week)
• 13-week assignment duration
• Maximum of 4 days requested time off allowed
• Required to float to other Emergency departments within Northwest system only
• 1.5 years of experience required
• Indiana RN licensure required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have proficiency in patient prioritization, rapid assessment, IV starts, medication administration, and critical care skills
• Knowledge of Cerner EMR system required
• Provide routine emergency department care from triage to discharge or transfer
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Work in 10-bed emergency department unit
• 2-day orientation provided
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must live greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
