RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• 72 hours guaranteed bi-weekly (96 bi-weekly not available)
• 13-week assignment duration
• Maximum of 4 RTO (requested time off) days allowed
• RTO blackout dates and required holidays apply
• Floating required to other Emergency departments within Northwest system only
• Block scheduling not available
• 2-day orientation provided
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 in 10-bed unit
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Indiana RN licensure required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Cerner EMR system experience required
• Must demonstrate patient prioritization and rapid assessment skills
• IV start proficiency and medication administration skills required
• Critical care skills and knowledge required
• Provide routine ED care from triage to discharge or transfer
• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Must submit required license, certifications, and driver's license with permanent home address

This healthcare facility operates a freestanding emergency room providing comprehensive emergency medical services to the community. The facility features a 10-bed emergency department that handles routine emergency care from initial triage through patient discharge or transfer to other facilities. The organization utilizes Cerner EMR systems and maintains modern emergency medical equipment to support quality patient care in an efficient emergency care environment.
