RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Provide critical care nursing for adult patients who have suffered heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, or other severe medical issues
• Assess patient conditions and plan and implement comprehensive patient care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support interventions
• Assist physicians in performing various medical procedures
• Observe and record patient vital signs continuously
• Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors, and other critical medical equipment
• Adjust ventilators and IABP as needed
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
• Perform suctioning procedures
• Collaborate with fellow members of the critical care team
• Respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols
• Act as patient advocate
• Provide education and support to patient families
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients as needed
• May occasionally care for pediatric/adolescent patients
• May need to float between Lander and Riverton campuses depending on facility census
• Must have 6 months recent ICU RN experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS/ENPC (American Heart Association)
• TNCC certification preferred but not required
• Must hold valid Wyoming RN license
