Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Rotating call schedule 2-3 days per week including weekends
• 16-week assignment length
• Perform specialized MRI procedures on patients resulting in diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Work in Interventional Radiology department, also serving ER/OP
• Handle all types of patients including vented patients and anesthesia cases
• Required to wear black scrubs (top, bottoms, jacket)
• Work with GE 1.5 and GE 3T MRI equipment using Visage PACS system
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Must have ARRT registration upon hire and obtain advanced A.R.R.T. registry in MRI within 1 year
• BLS and R.R.A. certifications required
• MRI Registry certification preferred
• 2+ years experience required with pediatric radiology/imaging experience
• Physical demands include push/pull up to 46 lbs, carrying 25 lbs, frequent hand coordination
• Evening shift orients on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
