RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
• Work with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health rooms
• Required certifications: TNCC, ENPC, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Use MEDITECH electronic medical records system
• Work with Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
• Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morgan lens, and resuscitation
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs for RNs
• Must be a multitasker, team player, and self-starter
• Trauma experience and holding inpatient experience preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• MEDITECH experience preferred
