RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a specialized open heart operating room environment
• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with call coverage after 3:00 PM and weekend call
• Night shift: Call coverage as needed
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio for optimal care
• Must have open heart surgery experience and cardiothoracic service line knowledge
• Preferred experience with other service lines including trauma, general, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, neurology, and plastics
• Will be floated to other operating rooms when no open heart surgeries are scheduled
• Perform typical procedures including CABG (with and without EVH), Impellas, pericardial windows, valve replacements, and ECMO
• Work with standard OR equipment and EMR - Meditech system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Must demonstrate dependability and flexibility
• Weekend and holiday call assistance available
• Float within Operating Room departments as needed
