Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in the Main Operating Room on the first floor
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Required to take 4-5 call shifts per 4 weeks
• Weekend rotation required
• No set schedule but reasonable scheduling provided
• Must be willing to float to assist in other areas when ORs are shut down
• Must have orthopedic experience, particularly major joint procedures
• Experience required in general surgery, urology (open & cysto), and minor vascular procedures
• Major vascular experience is a plus
• Work with advanced equipment including Stryker Ortho Systems, Stryker Lap Towers, Da Vinci Xi Robots, MAKO Navigation, and OMNI navigation
• Document using MEDITECH system
• Perform all surgical cases except open heart, transplants, and eye procedures
• BLS certification required
• Additional certifications are a plus
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must demonstrate punctuality, dedication, teamwork, and positive attitude
• Follow all AORN guidelines

This 354-bed healthcare facility is renowned for housing the largest burn center in the country, treating more than 3,000 patients annually. The hospital features the Human Motion Institute for mobility rehabilitation and maintains the shortest emergency room wait times in the Augusta area. Additional specialized services include a Digestive Disease Center, Pelvic Health Institute, and Stroke Center. The facility has been recognized as a Top 50 hospital in Surgical Care and was the only hospital in Georgia to receive this recognition in 2022. The hospital offers excellent amenities including free parking, provided scrubs, on-site cafeteria, and sterile processing located on the same floor as the OR.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
