RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Full-time position with temp-to-perm opportunity available
• Care for mixed patient populations including rehab, surgical, and respiratory patients
• 9th floor focuses on rehabilitation patients, 11th floor handles surgical and respiratory patients
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Trach/Vent and high flow experience recommended but not required
• Rehabilitation experience recommended but not required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only)
• Texas RN License or compact license required
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
