RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours
• No call requirements
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips
• Experience with open heart surgical patients preferred but not required
• Patient ratios typically 1:4 up to 1:6 based on patient acuity
• Care for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, and post-procedure patients
• Administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro)
• May float to intensive care units, medical-surgical units, and Renown South Meadows
• Required to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)
• Must pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• May be called off without penalty with 48 hours notice for low census
