Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours per week with option to work full 40 hours or flex 4 hours
• Monday through Friday shifts varying from 6:15 AM to 6:00 PM
• If patient census is low, schedule may change to 4x10 hour shifts
• Required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Must have 3 recent years of TruBeam experience required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) License for Radiation Therapy required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Radiation Control Program certification
• May be required to float to other areas based on organizational needs and competency level
• Administer prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to predetermined treatment areas
• Perform localization procedures to prepare patients for radiation treatments
• Provide support, education and teaching to cancer patients and families
• Assist in onboarding new team members and educating students
• Operate linear accelerators, simulators, and various software programs
• Must complete annual core competencies and department-specific workflow requirements
• Facility reserves right to call off shifts with 48 hours notice for low census
