RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position with 2 open positions available
• Epic experience required
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to float when needed
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1, occasionally 6:1
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact required
• Care for patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and medical surgical overflow
• Manage cardiac drips (do not nitrate but manage the drips)
• Provide routine and complex care utilizing nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education
• One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Complete annual competency verification requirements
• Temp to perm possibility available
