Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts: Day shift 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed (36 hours unless otherwise noted)
• No call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with traveler experience preferred
• Must have IMC experience and at least one prior travel assignment at med-surg level or higher
• IMC travel experience preferred
• Float to appropriate similar units at IMC level or lower as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for IMC patients (1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights when floating to med-surg)
• Work with telemetry, BIPAP, Hi-Flow O2, and insulin drips for DKA protocol
• Use Epic EMR system
• Required certification: BLS
• Complete MMC mandatory onboarding education
• Care for patients with respiratory conditions, medical telemetry, surgical cases, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, failure to thrive, respiratory failure, and acute on chronic medical conditions
• Dress code: Any color scrubs, no unprofessional clothing or shirts with non-hospital logos
• Must demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, accountability, good communication, patient-centered care, and can-do attitude

This major medical center operates a 12-bed Intermediate Care unit as part of a larger 36-bed floor, providing specialized care for patients requiring a higher level of monitoring than standard medical-surgical units but not intensive care. The facility utilizes modern technology and equipment to deliver comprehensive intermediate-level care, focusing on respiratory, cardiac, and complex medical conditions. The healthcare system emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and maintains high standards for clinical excellence.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
