Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities and perform nuclear medicine procedures
• Apply principles of radiation protection and the ALARA principle
• Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures
• Provide patient care essential to procedures and recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action
• Initiate life support measures when necessary
• Must have completion of approved program in Nuclear Medicine or other appropriate training
• 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine required
• Must be competent in components of Nuclear Medicine practice
• Certified with the Society of Nuclear Medicine or eligible
• New Mexico Radiology Technologist License required
• BLS certification required or must obtain per policy upon hire
• CNMT certification required
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff
