RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Floating required as needed per Methodist Floating Policy
• Must have 2+ years OR experience and 2+ years hospital experience
• Travel experience required (previous travel assignments)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Preferred skills include Meditech experience, robotics, urology, general surgery, and bariatric surgery
• Perform liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants plus variety of general surgery, robotics, bariatric surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, and plastic surgery procedures
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket
• Professional grooming standards including clean nails, neat hair, covered tattoos when possible, and no visible piercings except ears
