RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours weekly plus call responsibilities required
• First call from end of shift to 11:00 PM
• Second call from end of shift until 6:30 AM the next day
• Weekend call is 24 hours or can be broken into 12-hour segments
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Must have minimum 2 years OR experience
• Must be familiar with DaVinci robots and comfortable with fast-paced, high-performing department
• Exposure to high acuity surgical cases required
• Procedures include general, vascular, surgical oncology, colorectal, GYN oncology, urology, orthopedics, and ortho/neuro spine
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must use Meditec documentation system
• Facility scrubs provided
• Standard team staffing includes 1 RN, 1 CST, and FA as needed per case
• Support includes EVS for room turnover, schedulers, and unit CNC
• Must be proficient in all services except open hearts and craniotomies

This healthcare facility operates as a robotic center of excellence with state-of-the-art surgical technology and comprehensive surgical services. The facility features 11 OR beds and maintains 24/7 access to robotic surgery equipment including 6 DaVinci Xi systems, 1 DaVinci SP, and 1 DaVinci DV5. The surgical department maintains a collaborative team environment with experienced staff and provides educational opportunities with general, GYN surgical residents, and anesthesia residents on site.
