Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shift position in Radiology department, 1st Floor of main building
• Perform typical procedures including Lexi Scans, HIDA Scans, Gastric Emptying, Pulmonary Ventilation, Bone Scan, Liver Scans, Thyroid Scans, Renal Scans, and GI Bleed studies
• Use GE equipment for nuclear medicine procedures
• Work with EMR system MediTech and PACS - McKesson
• Rotating on-call responsibilities and availability to assist with weekend shifts
• Must have experience with GE nuclear medicine equipment and cardiac imaging
• Knowledge in Radiation Safety and Texas Regulations required
• Required certifications: CNMT and Texas Medical Board licensure
• May float to X-Ray department as needed
• Dress code requires Hunter Green scrubs
• Experience with Y-90 procedures and lymphoscintigraphy procedures preferred
• Must be self-motivated, efficient, and work well with others
