Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work in Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology department as a Radiology Technologist
• Perform neuro-interventions, angiograms, embolizations, IR procedures, biopsies and other ancillary procedures
• Work in biplane suite with nursing staff performing procedures and ancillary procedures in the Imaging department
• Operate GE Biplane Suite / Mac Lab equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in procedural area
• Schedule includes 4 ten-hour shifts for scheduling convenience
• Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Required to wear black scrubs per department dress code
• Must have Critical Care Experience and Interventional Radiology Experience
• Preferred experience includes Neuro IR Experience and Trauma IR Experience
• Work with 8-10 staff members including 5 Techs and 5 RNs on day shift with on-call coverage for night shift
• Must be willing to learn, demonstrate teamwork, and maintain energetic attitude
