RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• BLS Certification required
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards
• Demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the organization
• Communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of patients
• Must be able to handle emergency/crisis situations
• Requires prolonged standing and walking with heavy physical effort to position, push and transfer patients
• Must have manual dexterity and fine motor coordination
• Work involves exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
• Working hours are varied with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies
• Treat staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect
