RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years Medical Surgical experience; Orthopedic experience strongly preferred
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Care for patients including total joint replacements, ortho-spine surgeries, cervical/lumbar/thoracic surgeries, fractures, traumas, and medical overflow patients
• Staffing ratio of 1:5-6 for RNs
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Christmas Eve + Day = 1 holiday)
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• Subject to call-off without penalty 48 hours in advance for low census

This healthcare facility is a 38-bed medical surgical unit with all private rooms, specializing in orthopedic and neurosurgery care. The facility operates as a Level 2 trauma center with 800 inpatient beds and serves a 500-mile radius in an extremely busy and fast-paced environment. The organization features state-of-the-art technology including the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, advanced imaging capabilities, and comprehensive specialty services including heart and cancer care, neurosciences, and trauma services.
