RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• 13-week assignment with immediate start date available
• 2+ years of RN experience required plus at least 2 previous successful travel assignments
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ESI level 5 training
• TNCC certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Auto offers only - no interviews required
• Navy scrub color requirement
• Patient ratio of 1:4 in 29-bed unit plus 8 hallway beds
• Weekend requirements must be met
• One major and one minor holiday coverage may be required
• 48-hour weekly guarantees are not available
• Blocked scheduling will be attempted while meeting weekend requirements
• Responsible for patient care delivery through nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for effective patient care delivery and desired outcomes
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
