RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• 13-week assignment starting ASAP
• 2+ years of nursing experience required plus at least 2 previous successful travel assignments
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ESI level 5 training
• TNCC certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Navy scrub color required
• Patient ratios: 1:4
• Work in 29-bed unit plus 8 hallway beds
• Auto offers only - no interviews required
• Weekend requirements must be met
• One major and one minor holiday coverage possible
• Provide comprehensive emergency room patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and leadership in emergency department care planning
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery
• Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care
