RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work in a cardiovascular surgery department with 11 operating rooms and a Cysto room
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios providing personalized, focused care
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination
• Day shift only position - no overnight shifts available
• On-call requirements Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM initially, transitioning to every other day and every other weekend once additional RN is hired
• Minimum 3 years of recent cardiovascular surgery experience required
• Must have on and off pump CABG experience - candidates without these skills will not be considered
• Cardiovascular OR experience preferred
• Vascular surgery experience preferred
• Perform typical procedures including Off Pump CABG, On Pump CABG, Vascular Bypass, and Carotid Endarterectomy
• Required certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Must demonstrate hardworking attitude and strong team player mentality
• Work alongside surgical team including Director, Charge Nurse, Circulators, Surgical Techs, Nurse Techs, Anesthesia Tech, and Unit Clerk
