Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: Days 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or Nights 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• 16-bed ICU with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must have acute care and critical care experience
• Required to titrate drips including Levophed, Propofol, Insulin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, Precedex
• Charge nurse and house supervisor responsibilities available
• RNs read telemetry strips (no monitor techs)
• Care for cardiac and respiratory patients
• May be placed on call for low census with 30-minute response time
• Floating requirements apply with contract RNs floating first
• Scrub colors: black, cocoa brown, charcoal grey, navy blue, khaki
• Unit-specific orientation: 2 shifts
• MediTech EHR system
• Can apply for 90-day Oregon Emergency License if needed
• BSN not required

This healthcare facility features a 16-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services to patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions. The ICU is fully equipped with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP and other respiratory equipment, with 24/7 respiratory therapy support and intensivist coverage. The facility maintains high standards of care with comprehensive monitoring capabilities and advanced life support equipment to manage critically ill patients.
