RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Work in 8-bed Medical ICU with 1 Critical Care Technician per shift
• May be required to float to other areas based on competency level
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Subject to call-off without penalty 48 hours prior for low census
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Work with set group of intensivists who rotate weeks and are on-call 24/7
• ICU Charge RN also serves as the Rapid Response RN
