Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Full-time position with 40 hours per week (5 days, 8 hours each)
• Work with cardiac catheterization patients including cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, and device procedures
• Perform complex imaging and operational tasks including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition
• Manage departmental inventory and ensure accurate charge capture and reconciliation
• Act as preceptor for technicians and technologists at all levels
• Operate cath lab equipment including X-ray, IVUS, ICE, contrast injector, hemodynamic system, IABP, and other specialized devices
• Support physicians during procedures while ensuring patient safety and proper positioning
• Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to radiation safety protocols
• Complete daily room checks, stocking supplies, and equipment quality control
• Document procedures, hemodynamic measurements, and ECG recognition
• Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years of Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology or Cath/EP Lab experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• One of the following certifications required: RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), ARRT (CV), ARRT (VI), RDMS (AB), RDMS (OB/GYN), RDCS (AE), or RVT
• Louisiana LRT (R) or (F) licensure required
• Temporary to permanent position possibility
