RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
• 36-bed medical surgical unit with 1:6 patient ratios
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Dress code: Ceil Blue scrubs and adherence to hospital hygiene/dress code policy
• Work with telemetry equipment for each room with monitors, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, and bladder scanners
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Perform procedures including PICC line removal and vascular catheter/temporary catheter removal
• Must demonstrate strong nursing background, thorough assessment skills, and attention to detail
• Required skills include positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, teamwork, self-motivation, good communication and people skills
• Advanced telemetry rhythm interpretation skills needed
• Participate in hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, and AIDET patient experience requirements
• Work with highly experienced staff and utilize iMobile technology and advanced call light systems
• Self-scheduling available within guidelines
