RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• BLS Certification required
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Every other weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• No on-call requirement
• Float to other Med Surge units as needed
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking
• Heavy physical effort required for positioning, pushing, and transferring patients or equipment
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to assigned population
• Ensure quality care is provided in efficient and safe manner
• Communicate clearly and appropriately to patients of all developmental ages
• Work in clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment
• Subject to flexible scheduling due to unexpected changes and emergencies
