Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No call requirements and no weekend responsibilities
• Must work independently as typically the only nuclear medicine technician on site
• Perform approximately 40 nuclear medicine exams per month
• Handle procedures including stress tests, lung scans, bone scans, GI bleeding studies, thyroid studies, and lymphoscintigraphy
• Work with GE Discovery equipment
• Use Meditech and PACS documentation systems
• Transport patients for inpatient volumes averaging 12-14 per month
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (NM) or CNMT
• Must have knowledge of Nuctrac preferred
• Black scrub top and bottom required
• Must be easily adaptable and work well with others
• Experienced nuclear medicine technologist preferred
