RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in main operating room with 13 operating rooms on first floor
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Call shifts required 4-5 per 4 weeks with weekend rotation
• No set schedule but reasonable scheduling approach
• Floating required to assist in other areas when ORs are shut down
• Must have orthopedic experience, particularly major joint procedures
• Required experience: ortho major joint, general surgery, urology (open & cysto), minor vascular
• Advanced ortho skill set required; major vascular experience preferred
• Handle all surgical cases except open heart, transplants, and eye procedures
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred
• Work with equipment including Stryker ortho systems, Stryker lap towers, DaVinci Xi robots, MAKO navigation, and OMNI navigation
• Use MEDITECH documentation system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must demonstrate punctuality, dedication, teamwork, positive attitude, and follow AORN guidelines
• Free parking garage access and cafeteria available
• Sterile processing located on same floor
