RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips - failure results in contract termination
• Care for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, and COVID
• Provide post-procedure care for pacemaker, ablation, cath lab, and open heart surgery patients
• Administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips including Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro
• May float to intensive care units, medical surgical units, or other facilities based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts
• Subject to call-offs with 48 hours notice for low census
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
