Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Post Anesthesia Care
Job Details:
• Work night shifts in 23-hour overnight pod focusing primarily on PACU care
• 12-hour shifts with 48 hours weekly guaranteed hours preferred, 36 hours acceptable
• Every other weekend scheduling required
• Weekend call requirements every other weekend
• Rotating call requirements
• Must float to PACU/IMC/ICU as needed
• Patient ratio: 2:1 Phase 1 care (up to 3-4 patients in 23-hour stay)
• Care for complete patients from Cath/EP/OR/Vascular procedures including TAVRS and GYN
• Handle short stay patients requiring overnight monitoring
• Work with equipment including IV pumps, PCAs, epidurals, arterial lines, telemetry monitoring, TEE/CV
• Must have 3 years PACU experience with recent experience
• ICU experience required
• Trauma Level 1 experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• Experience with cardiac drips, groin management, and EKGs required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Complete online education modules and unit orientation
• EMR system: Epic
• Scrubs: any color, must be fragrance-free
• No artificial nails or cell phone use permitted

This major medical center features a comprehensive perioperative department with 40 pre-post beds and 9 overnight bays for 23-hour short stay patients. The facility specializes in advanced cardiac procedures including catheterization, electrophysiology, cardiovascular surgery, vascular procedures, robotic TAVRS, and pediatric catheterizations. The medical center operates as a Level 1 trauma center and maintains state-of-the-art equipment and monitoring capabilities to support complex patient care needs.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
