RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Acute Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Scheduled every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 72 guaranteed hours bi-weekly
• 13-week assignment duration
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Blocked scheduling is available
• Up to 48 hours of requested time off for 13-week commitment
• Required to work every other holiday
• Patient ratios: 1:6 for acute care, 1:10 for swing beds
• Navy blue scrub color requirement
• Indiana RN licensure required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• 3 years of experience preferred
• Required skills: IV starts, nursing assessments, telemetry monitoring
• Preferred skills: ICU drips experience
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility

This regional medical center is a 40-licensed bed facility that includes 10 swing beds, providing comprehensive acute care services to the community. The medical surgical unit has 20 beds with an average daily census of 10 patients. The facility focuses on acute care with telemetry, progressive care, and swing bed services, offering a supportive environment for nursing professionals to develop their skills in a community hospital setting.
