RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work variable day and night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment with 72 guaranteed hours bi-weekly
• Overtime after 80 hours worked in 2nd week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to Emergency Department within competency as needed
• May be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum callback
• Patient ratio: Day shift 1:4-1:5, Night shift 1:6 average
• Care for geriatric patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, and diabetes
• Work on a 25-bed medical surgical unit
• Required: Current Michigan RN license, AHA BLS certification, and 2+ years medical surgical experience
• Must have ICU and Emergency Room experience
• ACLS certification preferred but not required
• Experience required with CareScape patient monitors, Epic EMR, and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Any colored scrubs acceptable
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• For winter start dates, candidates with demonstrated contract experience in colder climates preferred
