Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts starting at 7:00 AM with occasional flexibility
• 13-week contract assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend requirements
• On-call responsibilities when low censused with 2-hour minimum call back
• Single employee tech department requiring full functionality from day one
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ARRT (N) or CNMT
• Minimum 3+ years of experience required
• Charting experience required in EPIC and Philips iSite PACS
• Knowledge of SPECT/CT procedures required
• Perform general nuclear medicine studies including bone scans, renal, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid, lymphoscintigraphy, cardiac studies, and parathyroid scans
• Heavy focus on cardiac studies
• Work with Siemens Symbia Intevo Excel SPECT/CT equipment
• Contract eligible for 36-hour low census
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
• Guaranteed hours may be affected during holidays when unit is closed
• Associate degree or certificate required
