Description

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Possible float to other locations in the south region including Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, and Divine Savior
• On-call rotation approximately 1 day per week and every 6th weekend
• Weekend and holiday rotation requirements
• Required certifications: RDMS AB and OB/GYN, BLS
• Minimum 2+ years ultrasound technician experience required
• Use Philips Epiq Elite machines and GE Logic machines
• Perform OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, general ultrasound/vascular lab, paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures, and small parts imaging
• Proficiency required in all ultrasound areas
• Average 6-8 exams per day
• Must maintain professional appearance with scrubs of any color
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call for low census hours with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Must be excellent at imaging with strong communication skills and team player attitude

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
