Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Technologist - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour variable shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week over a 13-week contract
• Must have 2+ years of CVOR experience and prior travel experience required
• 1 night of on-call per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 backup per week with potential additional call
• 30-minute response time required - must be ready and in OR within 30 minutes when called
• Work every 3rd weekend with holiday rotation requirements
• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license preferred (must be AHA or ARC certified)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
• Set up operative suites for patients and ensure all supplies are available through case cart management
• Scrub surgical cases in various specialties and manage room turnovers for multiple procedures
• Work with 3 cardiothoracic surgeons handling approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Cardiac/Thoracic experience required, thoracic robot experience preferred
• Must be flexible, motivated during downtime, and willing to perform tasks like pulling case carts and cleaning
• Use Epic charting system
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility location
• Subject to low census policies with up to 36 hours of unbillable time
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times
