Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Technologist - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour variable shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP
• On-call requirements: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 backup per week with 30-minute response time
• Weekend and holiday rotation: every 3rd weekend with holiday rotation required
• May float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), CST license (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years CVOR experience required, prior travel experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree or certificate preferred
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location
• Efficiently set up operative suites for patients and ensure all supplies are available through case cart preparation
• Scrub surgical cases across variety of specialties with 3 cardiothoracic surgeons performing approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Cardiac/thoracic procedures including thoracic robot experience
• Turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Perform downtime tasks including pulling case carts and cleaning when needed
• Use Epic charting system
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours with call-back minimum of 2 hours
• Mask required at all times during flu season if flu and COVID vaccinations are declined
