Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week with opportunity to pick up extra shifts if census allows
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Patient to nurse ratio of 4-6 patients (taking 6 is not the norm but may be needed)
• Unit includes 2 ICU beds
• Must have 1 year of experience in Med Surg Tele specialty
• Required certifications: Indiana or Compact nursing license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass 12 lead EKG and Dysrhythmia exam
• EPIC charting experience highly preferred
• Required skills include IV starts, medication passes, foley catheter care, NG tube feeding, ADLs, and IV drips
• Navy scrubs required
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• No float requirements or on-call responsibilities
• 40-mile radius rule applies - no local candidates accepted
