Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Preferred experience with TrueBeam and CT Sim equipment
• AAS or AMA certified program required
• RRT license with three to five years related experience required
• NYS license required
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
• Deliver radiation therapy to patients as prescribed under National Cancer Institute regulations
• Operate high-voltage, state-of-the-art radiation therapy equipment including Co-60, Linear Accelerator, and Simulator
• Coordinate patient appointments and interpret prescriptions
• Take radiographic films to confirm treatment volume
• Perform pre-treatment duties using Simulator for tumor localization
• Take patient contours and collect physical factors for treatment planning
• Take photographs of patients for portal verification
• Provide safety measures for patients and recognize radiation reactions
• Maintain compliance with departmental and regulatory policies
• Record and maintain treatment records and port films
• Participate in department in-service and educational programs
• Coordinate departmental and in-patient activities for proper patient care

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
