Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts for 40 hours per week
• 2 radiation therapists to 1 patient ratio
• Must have 2+ years experience using Varian treatment systems, Varian Truebeam, Varian Trilogy and IBA Proton
• Experience with Aria EMR required
• Active Virginia state license required at submittal
• Required certifications: RT(T) and BLS (must be AHA)
• Gray scrubs dress code requirement
• Variable weekend schedule - rare but may need to treat on Saturdays if proton machine is down during the week
• No on-call responsibilities
• First to float when floating is required
• Holiday week treatment means treatment continues during holidays
• Unit orientation includes Inova orientation, EPIC day training, and department orientation with chief or lead therapist
• Work in 7 treatment rooms providing radiation therapy services
