Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts for 40 hours per week
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Must have 2+ years experience using Varian treatment systems, Varian Truebeam, Varian Trilogy and IBA Proton, and Aria EMR
• Required certifications: RT(T), BLS (must be AHA)
• Active Virginia state license required at submittal
• Work in 7 treatment rooms with 2 RTTs to 1 patient ratio
• Variable weekend requirements - rare, but may need to treat on Saturday if proton machine is down during the week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Dress code: Gray scrubs
• Complete Inova orientation, EPIC day training, and department orientation with chief or lead therapist
• Holiday week treatment means providing treatment services during holiday periods

The facility maintains a 2:1 therapist-to-patient ratio to ensure quality care and utilizes Aria EMR for comprehensive patient management. The organization provides comprehensive oncology services with a focus on advanced radiation therapy treatments.
