Description
Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour shifts with variable schedules: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, or 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotations per department need
• On-call requirements: approximately 1-2 weekday shifts and 1 weekend per month (1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule)
• Holiday requirements: 1 major summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day) and 1 winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) per department need
• Must have 2 years recent scrub experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Experience required in procedures including: Coronary Artery Bypass, Ascending Aortic Aneurysms, Valve Repair and Replacement, Structural Heart Procedures (TAVR, Mitraclip), Thoracic Organ Transplant, ECMO, Ventricular Assist Devices
• Adult scrub experience required, pediatric scrub experience preferred
• Must be able to handle redo and emergent cases
• Floating expectations within scope of practice
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CST, and Virginia state license at time of submittal
• Must possess excellent communication skills and work as a team player
• Ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills required
• Must understand overtime may be necessary
• Participation in professional activities of the department expected
• Free on-site parking provided

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
