Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• 2 major and 2 minor holidays required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, RN License
• Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school and requisite clinical hours
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and customer service skills required
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in decisive, composed manner
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required
• Basic computer skills needed to optimize technology use for clinical care
• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to cultural diversity
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews and performance improvement activities
• Complete all mandatory education and professional competency assessments
• May serve as preceptor/mentor for other nurses and staff
