Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM with call responsibilities
• Call requirements range from 28-32 hours in a 4-week period, never to exceed 40 hours
• Minimum 5 years of OR experience required
• Strong proficiency required in 2 of these 3 specialties: Neurology, Orthopedics, Vascular
• Must be available to start within 4 weeks
• Previous travel experience is preferred but not required
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS, PALS
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in performance improvement activities and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses when needed
• Must have ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in decisive, composed manner
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills essential
