Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Schedule consists of 3 x 12-hour shifts per week with call responsibilities
• Call requirements range from 28-32 hours in a 4-week period, never to exceed 40 hours
• Minimum 5 years of operating room experience required
• Strong proficiency required in 2 of these 3 specialties: Neurology, Orthopedics, Vascular
• Must be available to start within 4 weeks
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS, PALS
• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary communication and collaboration
• Complete ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Support evidence-based practice and performance improvement initiatives
• Serve as preceptor/mentor for other healthcare professionals when needed
