Opportunity:

Vascular Tech - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call coverage required for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Function under the direction of clinical coordinator and/or department manager
• Assist with providing safe, age-appropriate care to patients
• Perform all exams according to department procedures
• Execute wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Set up equipment to provide imaging services and position patients for procedures
• Perform procedures in both IR and vascular hybrid interventional procedural settings
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography) or CVRN-LVL 3 (CV Cath Lab/Int IF RCIS-Cert)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or BLS-I (Basic Life Support - Instructor) certification required
• High School Diploma or GED, or completion of Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology required
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Must demonstrate competency in diagnostic radiology procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Understanding of anatomy and pathology and their effects on procedure quality required
• Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English language
• Must function independently during procedures after appropriate orientation and competency demonstration
