Opportunity:

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work various day shift hours including 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT-M (ARRT Mammography), ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Must complete accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Perform mammographic examinations and technical procedures requiring independent judgment
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Maintain minimum FDA/MQSA requirements for continuing education and experience
• Demonstrate competence in equipment operation and patient positioning
• Maintain first-time acceptance rate of 95 percent
• Complete all studies in RIS with proper orientation, marking, and labeling
• Perform quality control tests including phantom, visual checklist, and repeat analysis
• Maintain patient follow-up data and charging activities
• Must be dependable, accountable, and cooperative team member
• Excellent communication skills required for interaction with physicians, patients, and staff
