Description
Opportunity:
RN - PICU Inpatient
Job Details:
• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Manage and oversee care of complex and high acuity/critical pediatric patients
• Perform hourly minimum assessments and monitoring
• Provide culturally and developmentally appropriate direct clinical care
• Ventilator, BiPAP, CPAP, and Oscillator management required
• Conduct cardiac rhythm (EKG) assessment and analysis
• Monitor and trend continuous vitals including cardiac rhythm, respiratory rate, O2 sat, BP, arterial line waveforms
• Manage and titrate vasoactive, sedation, and insulin drips
• Run and analyze bedside point-of-care testing (iSTAT, ABG/VBG)
• Assist with bedside procedures including sedated LP, arterial line placement, CVL/PICC placement, intubation, chest tube placement
• Support and/or lead pediatric codes using PALS algorithm
• Perform sterile dressing changes
• Complete timely documentation and participate in interdisciplinary rounds
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS, PALS (within 180 days)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Less than 1 year experience acceptable with completion of accredited nursing school
• Strong computer skills, critical thinking abilities, and time management skills required
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
