Opportunity:

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Rad Tech required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT-M (ARRT Mammography), ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Must complete accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Perform mammographic examinations according to department procedures
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Maintain minimum FDA/MQSA requirements for continuing education and experience
• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate patient care
• Operate all radiographic equipment in a safe and competent manner
• Maintain first-time acceptance rate of 95 percent
• Complete all studies in RIS with proper orientation, marking, labeling and notation
• Knowledge of ACR/MQSA QC testing procedures
• Excellent communication skills required for interaction with physicians, patients, and staff
• Ability to function independently under pressure while participating in team environment
• Must exhibit excellent customer service skills and work effectively in fast-paced environment
